An IPE Immersion Day at UIC
CAIPPER aims to provide learners with a variety of learning experiences, not only for students but also continuing education for faculty and practicing professionals.
The immersive Foundations of Interprofessional Collaborative Practice Program is a cornerstone of IPE learning at UIC. It is a course that students across all health sciences colleges at all UIC campuses take early in their educational program. It serves to introduce important concepts, including what interprofessional collaborative practice is, why it is important, and how students can develop the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed as a member of an interprofessional team.
